Team Story

This is the second year that students from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School have decided to compete in the FIRST robotics challenge. Last year our team presented itself as a champion and a great threat. Many of the teams would never have guessed that such an onslaught could have come from a rookie team.

Team 2609 did exceptionally well as a newly formed team. We met a lot of new friends and furthered our knowledge of FIRST and their vision. We at Our Lady of Lourdes cannot wait for a second chance.

Our Mission

Last year was a great experience for the team and could not have been a better opportunity for learning. We encountered many obstacles but overcame them as a group. This year we will be even more prepared than last and should be able to adapt to any situation we may face.

This year we hope to try our best in every area of the competition and further our knowledge of robotics and a rapidly expanding field of work. We at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School strive “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”. -FIRST.
